While browsing some sites regarding iphones i ran across this little app which really interested me. Its called Interface Mod. I dont know if anyone has posted this before on MMi...if someone has sorry for this double post.

This app allows the user to change the artwork of the various iphone apps. by just downloading the required colours. There r quite a few colour options available. You can read more info, screenshots and also get the download source from the link below.

this is sweet. Im using yellow and it looks good. The wife is using the pink and works fine.

while it's handy and simple to just install/uninstall the colors, it'd be neat to have some sort of GUI interface where you could just switch between the different colors natively in an application.

either way, i love it!

BUG REPORT: has anyone tried opening safari after installing one of these? i have orange installed and it makes the safari browser totally black and you can barely even read the title of the page at the top...

uninstall, redownload it, install

the sarfari pics probally were corrupted or something

it's definitely still like that after reinstalling.

the installation makes the buttons orange and the areas around it (typically blue) black. this works in all cases i've found except for safari. it just makes safari look weird and hard to read the title.

yeah i've tried all the colors and i stay with green for now. The Safari browser gone black! true..maybe wait for the updat eto fix that trouble

i havent actually bothered to check this out on safari, i have read that it has some problem with it....i have tried various colours and they look quite nice anf funky.

BIG BUG.....
after uninstalling it....original is not coming back...
even I can't open settings of the phone....it seems by uninstalling it removed originals as well....

End even I can't open installer any more....I would say don't use it....
Right now I am not able to find any solution to fix this....

I agree with billchase2, further development of this into a full UI so the user can change the colours at will would be awesome. I'm using the green right now, checked out Orange and Black too. The Orange one is cool cos its like like being on the Orange Network

i have the pink...i haven't uninstalled it to try other colors because i love the pink that much. the title bar in safari is unclear, but doesn't bother me enough to remove the app. i love the way it looks with intelliscreen...
