anyway to make it so that it can be turned upright as well ? would be nice to just set it into the dock and not have the numbers sideways

it works well - I ended up photoshopping the numbers to make them a little less tall - looks a lot better - easier to read...

pretty cool.. but I second the motion to make a mode so that you can view it upright, that way you can set it in the dock and still have a nice large digital clock... Is it harmful to the screen or battery if I have the screen on all night in the dock with this clock program running?

(not so big) Upright Digital Clock

I have shamelessly modded this app so that I have an upright clock.

There are also 3 alternative backgrounds. Just copy the background.png file into /Applications/BigClock.app overwriting the current file.

ps. You have to double tap the actual digit to change from 12h to 24h.

I don't think a lock screen clock will be of any use, since the lock screen only stays on for a few seconds. Besides, why would you want a lock screen clock - there is one already on your lock screen. This is just to have a big clock display on your phone while it is in the charger, and not on the lock screen. imo.
