11-15-2007, 08:45 AM #1Temporary Customize patched for 1.1.1
I fixed some issues with my patched Customize 1.13 so it would work after running the new Customize 1.17 and having no hidden icons.
I also patched it to run as a separate application so both can be installed.
In Downloads is a zip file of the CustomizeNM.app folder - copy it into /Applications, set executable permissions on customize and bin/cp, then restart SpringBoard. It should show up as CustomizeNM.
It is (somewhat) more stable than 1.13 and handles rearranging icons on 1.1.1 if you set the SpringBoard Setting to Max Icons. It has the hidden area still and the alpha sorting (not tested).
It should run on 1.0.2 more stably than 1.13 but is untested.
Something to fill in while we wait the Spicy Goodness of Customize to return!

Nice. Good until new Customize comes out.
I can't seem to get it to load. It just crashes after 20 seconds on the blank spicy chicken background. I CHMOD'ed everything to 0755.
I'm on 1.1.1 and I also have Customize 1.17 installed.

Fixed a bug in patched version to handle new applications properly without putting them in the Third Party section.
Interestingly, you can replace the Customize file on your phone with iPhoneBrowser and the file attributes (executable 755) remains with the file.
