[New Killer App] IntelliScreen - Your "Slide to Unlock" Screen on Steriods

Hi have a problem installing Intelliscreen after been forced to restore a few weeks back...
When I installed I turned out with the "spinning apple" when rebooting the iPhone, and I found this guide and followed the intructions: Search Results
Which reads:
"If you end up with a spinning Apple Logo, if you can SSH into the iPhone, you can copy /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist.preintelli to /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist. Then reboot your iPhone."
And I did replace the content in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist with what's in /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist.preintelli and the iPhone rebooted fine.

But, when trying to install Intelliscreen again I get stuck on the apple on the reboot again.

What can I do to make it work?
I want Intelliscreen again.

For the alerts, cant we just set a number of times to alert? So I could have it alert me every minute, but only alert me like 5 times. After 5 times, it stops the alerts. This would solve the battery issue if you are not by your phone and you have an alert going off every 2 minutes...

Here's a little tip. When your trial expires and you decide you really like this app and dump the $20, all your prefs are reset to default. Yup, that means all your RSS feeds, all your layouts, all your settings...all have to be reset. The RSS is the most annoying, if you have set any up it's such a pain in the ***** to type those long feeds in...rrrggghhh...

This wont affect the battery. Only if new will only show the email section, if there is a new email in your box. But 10 latest will just sit there and always be there. Its more of choice and not too much a concern on battery. Its not either or its which suits you best.

I have just bought the product and think it is great however there is 2 issues I am having:

1) My iPhone stops playing music when I have a reminder (missed SMS or text) alerting me. Even if I have checked it, I have to go in and delete the reminder in order for it to not stop my music playing.

Ex: Call comes in, I hit "decline" and then it goes back playing my music. However, the iPod will stop playing every 2 minutes (that is what my alert interval set on) and then I have to restart the music again. If I choose not to listen to the voicemail right then and there it will continue to stop my music every 2 minutes until I stop the alert.

2. I really like the vibrate alert, but I would like it to vibrate until I check the Intelliscreen. Once I check it I would like it to stop vibrating.

Other than that, this is a great app.

This program just kills my battery and all I use is privacy and calendar. Ill stick with Kate for now.

Any fix for the incredible battery drain? Its the only thing I have running (Privacy, and calendar) and Im at 80% battery without using my phone much today at all. With Kate, I always have full battery half way into the next day if I hardly use it. At this rate Ill be below 50% by tonight.

BETA works great so far, thanks so much! I will update via that BETA Forum if I see any bugs

Bummer I spoke too soon, after I did a reboot a bit ago, it locked up the phone, finally got back to Cydia, then unistalled BETA, then had to reboot again, went to Cydia, it said the package was not totally deleted or something, had to let it to that, then Rebooted, then installed regular version all is back and ok thank GOD, not ready for prime time yet but will be I bet soon

I believe PUSH enabled had a lot to do with this... Push just seems to suck the life out of my phone.. I have push off right now and ill test it in the morning to see if it drops over night

I'm using IntelliScreen v1.09 with my 1.1.4 iPhone and noticed that the ESPN NCAA Men's Football scores are not showing up? Do I need to SSH into this phone to fix a URL or something?

Please don't reply for me to upgrade IntelliScreen as I am not on AT&T and therefore cannot upgrade to 2.0x of iPhone's OS until ZiPhone is updated for 2.0x.

Actually, that's not true. If you still have the 1st gen iPhone, you can jailbreak and unlock it for use on other networks. The only iPhone that can not at this time be unlocked is the iPhone3G. So, to be clear, you can update a 1st gen iPhone to 2.0.2, and use WinPwn to both jailbreak it and unlock it. And, it's a lot safer than using Ziphone.

(I am assuming you have the original iPhone, since you say you are using 1.1.4)

^100% correct. Well I think I have seen some unlocked 3G iPhones on eBay that are from Australia/Italy, don't know if it's true. But it may be...?
