It was not my meaning to. I just tried to have both alternative more clear about the "RSS" issue. I would never be so low to try "decline" such a good idea. Excuse me if somebody else took it as a "decline"!

I don't know if you're at the WWDC or not, but how much of this fantastic program is against Apple's rules & prohibited so that you couldn't put out a release (even with less functionality) with version 2.0 of the software? Or is the whole application itself against Apple's rules?

This is the best program I have on my iPhone right now & I would hate to see it go but I really want the 2.0 softare & the App store...

jps: I can guarantee you it won't work through the SDK, as it breaks the rules. However, if 2.0 is ever jailbroken and allows native apps to run, then yes, it is a possiblity.

When I enabled FreeBoard (5 icon dock) on my iPhone, inteliscreen stopped working, so I disabled FreeBoard but intelliscreen still refuses to work.

Anybody know how to get intelliscreen working again?

I went back to the old customize, unistalled and reinstalled intelliscreen,and it worked.
But all of your settings will be gone, and you have to manually turn on all the services again from the layout screen

uninstall and reinstall or disable intelliscreen and restart the phone (hold home and power button until apple reappears) and then attempt to enable.

I had the same problem, and did the exactly the same thing to get my intelliscreen back. Yes, it sux to reset everything. Sometimes makes me wonder whether it's safer to have apps. from app. store. At least they may not mess up my phone. I really don't like to restore my phone.

Yeah it sucks. The wierd thing was that when I would Preview the layout in intelliscreen, it would appear just fine, but customize refused to let it show up

Man it would have been great to have 5 dock icons again. Oh well, I think intelliscreen wins over 5 icons. Atleast until someone fixes that (Please)

Hey All - regarding Freeboard - I spoke with TheSpicyChicken and asked him not to overwrite the com.apple.SpringBoard.plist edits that others have made (ie, this will disable SkrewCommon, iBlackList, etc).

Until then - you can either run from SSH /Applications/IntelliScreen.app/intelliSpring or you can add the installer source http://intelliborn.com/repo and choose the Intelliborn Category and then IntelliScreen Startup Fix (this does the same as the SSH).

The more permanent fix will come in 1.06 - which will allow you to do this via the IntelliScreen Settings when it has detected another App has overwritten the iPhone SpringBoard startup file.

This still disables Freeboard. Is there anyway to have them both running at the same time?

No because freeboard overwrites a file that other 3rd party programs need in order to work.. including intelliscreen. spiceychicken is gonna have to come up with a diffrent way to make it work or something

I am having Random freezes after the last update of intelliscreen...the image will just randomly freeze and after a couple of seconds go dark, only way to get it running again is doing a soft reset.

anybody having the same problem?

He needs to figure out Rip-Dev's method (the creators of Kate) because during my use of intelliscreen i had the 5 icon dock working fine using Kate

I got screwed.
I installed intelliscreen 1.04, in a couple of days upgraded to 1.05. Today I tried to tether iPhone to PC and installed tinyproxy, restarted - stuck at logo. And I do have summerboard (and Categories).
I used PC Suite to get into iPhone and renamed tinyproxy daemon plist -no effect. Then I replaced springboard daemon plist with original one - iPhone showed me desktop but all apps except for bossprefs and Installer crashed at start - even Preferences. I uninstalled IS from Installer and rebooted. Worked fine, apps OK. Then I removed /Library/Intelliborn (why did it stay?) and phone stucked at logo again. Had to put that back to make it work.
So - how can I remove it completely?
Also, can I just remove intelliscreen portion from SpringBoard plist and use it for original? <--- I just compared them and the only difference is "/Library/Intelliborn/intelliScreen" - so I guess I have regular SB.plist in LaunchDaemons now.

And I just tested this: if I rename /Library/Intelliborn to /Library/_Intelliborn (for example) - applications start crashing instantly after that. Rename it back and in instantly works.
Also, I see /mobile/Library/Intelliborn directory with skins and Localizable strings - not removed on Uninstall.

So, seeing all this, and especially this weird thing with "/Library/Intelliborn/Intelliscreen" I assume that there's got to be something else rooted in the system. The question is - how could I remove it?

Just a quick note that I installed the newest release of Customize (2.0.0RC1.3) and used it's FreeBoard to allow for a 5 icon dock.

Everything is working fine, including the 5 icon dock, vWallpaper (with SkrewCommon 1.36) and, of course, the latest version of IntelliScreen (1.05).
