Maybe, but it did not do that in the last version, maybe just a tiny bug that needs to be fixed.

Nice!
Still needs LESS then 2 minute repeat alarms and also custom alarms based on sender of SMS.
Still with my home grown SMSnotify for that (FOR NOW).

Intelliscreen crashed my phone. I installed it today, only one i installed.
I rebooted, set it up was working fine. Then all of a sudden i can no longer do anything on my phone. Cant turn it off, there is no lock screen just opens to applications, but most of my applications are now missing, there is no icons on the bottom screen (phone, ipod, mail, safari) I can click on web links but they do not launch. Anyone else experiencing this? I have a trial license too.

Be sure you do a full RESET of device after installation.
Only issue im having at this point is the Dialer. Just blank screen, dials, and unable to hangup.
Also wish we could do custom alarms for SMS, Email, etc. Not only the sound should be diff. but also alert sound based on sender.

This comment is LAME. Intelliscreen doesn't deserve (or even need) to be free.
Intelliscreen is a very useful time saver (dare I say business) application for the iPhone.
There are 3 levels of purchasing a license, starting at less than $5.
Intelliborn, while they may be a small developing company, has the right to charge for their product. They've likely put in hundreds of man hours developing it for 1.x software, and then probably even similar in continuing to port it to 2.0. Intelliscreen isn't some 4 hour 'hack' job put together so that it's easier to turn off/on the WiFi connection (for example). It has never been advertised as freeware, so you should have known upfront while installing it.

What other sources need to be installed for this to program to work?
I installed FW 2.0 after reading that this was available this morning. I couldn't get intelliscreen to work on 1.1.4 so I figured that this would solve my issues with a new firmware install. The only program I installed so far is Intelliscreen and almost immediately after opening the program it reverts to the springboard. I doesn't allow me to change any settings whatsoever.
Any expertise would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone needs to READ the install instructions as they install on Cydia. This is nothing new, but AFTER you have downloaded IntelliScreeen on Cydia, and then you close Cydia, BEFORE you launch IntelliScreen, you MUST REBOOT YOUR iPhone. Not respring, but reboot. Not just press the home button.
That means hold down the home button (front of the iphone) AND the on/off button (on the top of the iPhone) until the white Apple logo appears.
THEN, you can tap the Intelliscreen icon, and make your settings. Then, after you press the Apply softkey in Intelliscreen, you wait till the iPhone resprings itself, and all will be working.

I REBOOTED the iphone by holding the home button and power button down until it powered off. I installed the program on older firmware so I have read numerous instructions on installing intelliscreen for the first time.
AND YES, I know that I must retrieve the license first BEFORE trying to use the program.
Thanks though.

@minitrik - You shouldn't have deleted the intelliscreen folder. If you search in this forum, you will find a simple way to disable IntelliScreen on reboot, so that you can then properly uninstall it.
@Luckout - you said you couldn't get IntelliScreen working on 1.1.4 either. I don't know what the problem was then or is now, but IntelliScreen was working fine on 1.1.4, and is also working now on 2.0. Perhaps there is some conflict with another app you have installed?
I'm no expert on all the inner workings of the iPhone, so perhaps psuskeels can reply with some adviceLast edited by tsatryan; 08-04-2008 at 04:17 PM.
