Yes people do go threw cell phones like water. But all the ringtones and applications they bought for that phone or PDA still work on the product it was made for. Even if they only used it for a year.

And, just like your Betamax, IntelliScreen will always work on the iPhone it was designed for. It is anyone's choice as to whether they upgrade to the as-yet-not-released new iPhone software.

No, I am not an idiot, nor am I so rude as to accuse someone else of being an idiot. I am well aware of the current sales phenomen of vinyl records, but to call it a massive industry would be a gross overstatement. It is a niche market for the few individuals who think there is a "warmth" to the sound of analogue that is missing from digitally recorded material.
