I still have a Betamax and as a mater of fact it still works. The tapes I bought for it still play.

Yes people do go threw cell phones like water. But all the ringtones and applications they bought for that phone or PDA still work on the product it was made for. Even if they only used it for a year.

If someone wants to try to make money but covering a demand that cannot be filled by the appstore and it's "rules", he/she should be able to try without having their thread spoiled by people like you. People trying to hide their cheapness behind some sort of moral code.


It's $20. Perhaps that is alot more to people in the US than to us here in Europe, where it basically covers a passable lunch. So what if the app stops working in the future, it's not exactly like you spent you life savings on it. But I guess that some people value that precius cent/penny more than others.

If he stops charging for this app I will donate $40. Not just for the app. but to show my appreciation for him as a developer and his contribution to the community.

You and I may not be so cheap. But a lot of people out there are and when they pay for this app today only to find out it doesn't work come Monday or a month from now. He may not have as many fans as he does today.

You're right, the pre-address is a script which fixed the problem, which is that this RSS feed is in Hebrew and Intelliscreen displays it as gibbrish. This worked very well until v0.95, just not now with the v1.03...

Accessing the full URL I gave (ynet - חדשות) through any RSS reader works fine, so the problem is somewhere in the new version of Intelliscreen...

Not many will update on the first day of the release. I won't. Let the kinks be ironed out (jailbreaking, activating, unlocking, and any other bugs) and third-party apps be available on it before i change.
1.1.4 is most stable and most apps in the App Store will be pay for at first anyway... And why would you change straight away, your phone wont be your's anymore, it will once again be apple's. Just like they want it to be, the are becoming power hungry.

I suspect we have to wait a while till they JB 2.0 for it to work, although I hear that 2.0 is a diff configuration and may 1.14 apps will not work, so be careful if Apple updates to 2.0 on Itunes on Monday, I would wait
