To all the people that are having trouble with the screen not being responsive after launching an app or will not go into sleep mode, a little research about other applications causing the same issue would give you the solution outside of restoring.

All you have to do is SSH into your device and manually respring your device by entering this in putty:


/bin/launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist

/bin/launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist

OR

Have killbaord installed, remaining on springboard at all times, tap tha app, it resprings, your all fixed. I have mentioned this fix many times in other threads, all it takes is a little research.

If your device becomes COMPLETELY unresponsive even after trying these two fixes.... THEN AND ONLY THEN DO A RESTORE! Why lose all of your setup over being impatient and not wanting to search around first??

Thanks skrew, any chance of getting a bug fix for the random vwallpaper freeze when quitting app's. I know a respring fixes it.

Couple of things

first Problem, Birthday does not show up for me, I installed, put BDAY in a few contacts and rebooted and nothing

Second Request
1) Can you make the weather or anything on the screen open to safari or calendar or whatever we put on the screen
2) Can you give us a choice of Weather, Calendar, Stocks, Battery, Sports, News all clickable please

I know it sounds like intelliscreen, sort of but you have a great app started and I would love to see it more functional

Are there any plans to work further more on this?
Extend settings and functionality?
For example I'd LOVE scroll to see more events in the calendar.
Also toggle the different views(weather, birthdays etc).

I would like to be able to remove everything but the calendar, and resize it, so it shows more appointments.
Do you think this would be possible in the future?

iToday behaves so much better than IntelliScreen, in that it fades out nicely before the unlock screen is replaced by the springboard when you unlock the phone, and feels more like an actuall part of the unlock screen, rather that something on top of it.
