No he's right. It may have NEVER messed up your phone, but if you look at all the forums it has messed up many phones.

Also, if they are smart at all, they'll never make installer a pay app. It would instantly die. People are just too opposed to paying for hacks.

RIPDEV is one of the best, Love KATE works great on a fresh 1.1.4 ZPHONE and Cant wait for this update,

I never had a problem with Caterpillar, never use the features of Kate coz my trial ran out, but I'm sure it will work fine. The only people who have problems are people who don't read, ignore warnings, or are complete noobs when it comes to iPhones. Buying Kate this week, wish me luck.

Installer will NEVER be pay, like has been said. Would be ridiculous.
But the addition of RiP-Dev is a great advantage. They have done things others haven't been able to so far (eg. Kate with 5-icon and reflective dock). I think it shows promise of amazing things!

Can wait to se what's in store.

To everyone who hates on kate/caterpillar. IT DOESNT MESS UP PHONES AT ALL. Theres just a couple apps (dock, screenshot, pretty much any other screenshot app) that interfere and disables the touch screen in apps. BUT this can easily be fixed by deleteing the plist having to do with the dock, screenshot, etc through SSH!!!
