Breaking News/ First ever unauthorized iPhone GUI Application

"Hackers from an ipone IRC channel have released the first ever unauthorized iPhone GUI Application which displays hello world and nothing else at all. The hackers have released the source for the demo application, with a binary application being hosted Here":

If anyone gets the instructions how to install this...Please add one to this exciting news.
EDIT: So its actually easy to do this...just back up one of your .app and than replace it with hello world..renaming the hello world with the name of the .app.

I used Manzana....a gui app to transfer the hello app to the iphone and did not experience any problems. Note: Manzana is a windows application.... Try to google that "AFCFileRefOpen: 9" error....there are some answers as why some users get the error.

I used Manzana and deleted the old MobileTimer.app but where exactly do I put the new one? Do I create a new directory or just drag it into /Applications?

EDIT__I tried both and when I start the application its just black and it goes back to the homescreen after about 10 seconds...

Thats what I did....but with Calculator...so you just replace Calculator...and ofcourse you put hello in the same directory...Now I tried opening up the hello.app with hexeditor....and did some changes to see if I could add to it...and now I too am having problem...even replacing the original Calculator wont do a thing. I might have to restore everything.

I think it would be easier to simply install the app in the /Applications folder and just edit the DisplayOrder.plist file. Has anyone tried this?

DemoApp.app

People,
if you are gonna repurpose an existing app in /Applications use the DemoApp.

You won't break anything of any use this way. MobileTimer? Really?

I did this and it works fine, tho quite useless.
Still cool that code was compiled for this thing.
