Any word from Erica herself, whether the App was just a parody of Vista or does it actually provide a gateway for installing Windows Vista on an iPhone?

Guys, it was just a joke.
Open the app folder and look at Default.png
Exactly.
As I've said before, if you're going to complain, you better make a better app.

Vista V. .02 is out. I just updated, and now the BSOD "_" blinks at the end of the error message.
I'd rather be on two wheels.

you must be using windows 98.
a.) BSODs now are rare, and most of the time caused by ram/hardware problems
b.) BSODs doesn't even look like that anymore (on her app)
c.) I've been using windows systems for years now, no BSODs since win2k.
anyone who "loves it" is some ****** fanboy. true story.

This app should be called XP, since the BSOD is not Vista.

I don't know, I'm normally a fan of Erica's work, this "joke" was in poor taste. I'm running Vista 64 and yes occasionally I get a BSOD, but every time was caused by a bad memory stick I have in. I'm not a fan of Apple at all so it would be very easy for me to say something argumentative, but I'll hold my peace.

Apple GCOD (gray curtain of death)
Ok, for those die-hard PC guys, here is one for you. It is the MAC GCOD (gray screen of death).
The app is called 'Apple'. Place it in your iPhone applications folder.
This is just a joke, like Erica's! In fact, I took Erica's app and just changed it to a mac flavor.
So there PC guys, now you can also laugh at the Mac guys... ;-)

its funny to me that people are getting so upset about an app thats just for fun lol... ive always used windows and never a mac and I have seen the bsod many times, though never with vista. The app was just for fun, use it, laugh and get on with your lives.

P.S. ... i'd hate to be in the same room with some of these people when they saw the Mac vs. PC commercials for the first time LOLLast edited by k wizzle; 11-07-2007 at 05:48 PM.

This thread is so silly. Windows and Mac users should all work together to make the best of our little iphone toys, I use windows, and I still thought it was funny. You shouldn't get so offended. People like Erica work hard for FREE to bring us all wonderful things for our phones. How many people mad about this could even make an app like it?
Peace X)
I can't wait until the day after yesterday's tomorrow.
