I seriously dont see how this is legit on so many levels. First off its not necessary imo, secondly McAfee released a product that can only go on a jailbroken phone and released a beta, doubt it, wouldnt that go against what they are trying to stop - an exploit. Also if you go to McAfee's website there is no mention of even considering making a product for the iphone.
So I would take this app with a grain of salt and question what it really does.

Whoever tries to install a McAffee product deserves what they get.
There software has caused more issues on PC's then viruses, almost as bad as symantec at stealing system resources.

well a co releasing an app for a jailbroken phone is not a good idea and apple wouldnt really approve of that on a professional level. also fw 2.0 doesnt allow alot of the disk writing and stuff that < 114 does. and if apps are sandboxed on 2.0 like they should be there is really no way you could ever write anything outside of your dir. and if you could this app would need special privileges to run outside of a sandbox to scan the iphone disk.. so it seems either really stupid or fake.

are you seriously kidding? a big time security software company making an antivirus app for the iPhone with an unofficial sdk? what a joke! I've never had a virus on my phone. Have you?
Please hit the thanks button if I helped you out

mac users should note that virus makers are not going to spend time developing a virus that can only work in 5% of total computers. And that percentage used to be around 3% a couple of year ago
