I have a new installer Source by Swell Software. Follow CyberGreg's Walkthrough http://code.google.com/p/iswitcher/wiki/HowToAddSource
but instead of his source (i recommend you install his too) you put mine:
Oh, and if you were having problems installing Mobile Stacks, my source offers that as it's first package
New Source: Don't Use That one anymore: use lyndellwiggins.com/Swell.xml theres no www. so in installer its http://lyndellwiggins.com/Swell.xml

is there a way to change the apps that show up in the stack. I really only use the installer and would like to put the summerboard, customize and settings icons in stack

Swell, I must say this app is sweet. once you get it to change the icons using the stack settings , it will be perfect. GREAT WORK!
for those who may be hesitant to install this, it installs easily. heres a step by step
-- you dont NEED customize app, but its awfully helpful
1. on your iphone open installer app (make sure its the new one, if your on 1.1.1 your good)
2. press on sources at the bottom right corner
3. press on edit at the top right corner
4. press on add at the top left corner
5. enter in this address http://lyndellwiggins.com/Swell.xml (it will update the source)
6. press on install at the bottom (if it doesnt already take you there)
7. scroll down to and press on "Swell" (without the quotes)
8. install mobilestack
9. after install, press home and go back to your homescreen (there may be a reset before this)
10. find and press stacks controller icon on your homescreen
11. press install stacks button
12. restart your phone (hold power until the red slider appears and slide)
13. press on customizer app
14. move stacks to the last position on your dock. Im not sure if this works with 3 icon / 5 icon docks, I have a 4 icon dock.

Sorry for the confusion, I didn't make MobileStack. I just really liked it and didnt see it on installer, so i put it on my source. I agree about the stack editing, if you go to code.google.com/p/mobilestack you can see that the owner is working on it. I AM currently messing around with the app to see if I can get it to work. Hopefully one of us can do it. Oh, on the Source I put the guy that made its name but it only show like three things so I will add his name to the description

I am having trouble getting installer to see this source can you just email me the plist or something?

Do EXACTLY what I say. go to installer, then sources. Click edit, then add. Don't erase the http:// and don't add www. so it will be like this http://lyndellwiggins.com/Swell.xml Swell is capatalized and when you type .xml the autocorection says .XML, cancel that. after its typed in click ok and then done in the top right corner. click refresh and it should be good.

mobilestacks is great. Who needs iPod anyway with home button double click. I tried for about a half hour yesterday to code it for different apps but I can't even find where I would do it. I'm sure it won't be hard coded for much longer.

Yeah I will definatly use this when I can customize it (and when the icon doesn't stay showing for a few seconds when you open apps...)
