well, i'm learning to program for my touch since a while.
my project is thtouch (texas hold'em).
i had to do other more important things in the last weeks, like moving to a new flat and stuff.
now i still got most of my time filled up with my studies and building furniture for my room. but i'll use my spare time to push this little project forward to finally produce a usable poker game, which doesn't require you to use safari
first glimpse, after 2 days of trial and error.

I updated all card pictures. They're way more readable now. I also experimented a little more with the timer and made the flop animation a bit nicer.

that looks like it will be sweet, can't wait until you are able to get it fully up and running.

Animations look awsome so far. Couple of things which would be great:
1. Complete Odds calculator - it seems like with what you have programmed in so far you could add in a card selection interface and other simple variables, and set up a really good mobile odds calculator with that. I know I would use that whenever I am usure of exact odds in situations and and discussing hands with friends. I know there are some open source odds calculating web-apps somewhere which have the code for this.
2. Tourny clock, blind structures etc.. Another thing which wouldnt be a game necissarily but would be useful for actually running tourny's .
Both of these would be awsome additions that would have some practicle application when not playing the game itself.

And regarding your first wish: I think you should try ipokreveal (or whatever it was called).
I actually want to concentrate on the game itself. Either single player against AI players or multiplayer via WiFi (Edge respectively on the iPhone). But I'll still have to decide on that later on.

Great job so far.
Take your time and do it as you really wish to release it.
I'd much rather have a good app that takes a while then something thats been released due to community pressure.
We can wait a bit longer :P
Keep it up buddy
