Hi ive ready that you can get applications from the community sources why is it im installing it from installer but no icon is showing up please help me newbie?

What are you installing? Certain applications such as Openssh and others will not give you an icon on the springboard.

Hi i am trying to install community sources from the installer icon on the home page its suppose to be good to get more stuff for your iphone but it says its installed but i dont get an icon am i suppose to?

you aren't supposed to get an icon, it adds more files as options to install within installer. please post in the correct forum next time.
