    Default bigboss prefs help!

    ok I just downloaded the program. I chose to hide some Apps, including bigboss prefs. I forgot to make the shortcut for the doubletap of the homescreen button to take me to bigboss prefs. I also hid my installler program too. I'm now stuck..... I don't know what to do !!!!

    download poof.app unzip, then copy poof.app folder/app to the Applications folder on your iphone then restart/reboot. Then use poof to unhide your apps...

    You need to edit your /Applications/BossPrefs.app/Info.plist and delete these 3 lines:
    <key>SBAppTags</key>
    <array>
    <string>hidden</string>
    </array>

    Save and replace the file on the iPhone. You can do this with SCP or with iphonebrowser. After this, restart the iphone and you will have BossPrefs icon back. Go in and unhide what you dont want hidden.

    v1.61 will not allow you to add BossPrefs to its own dock any longer.

    Sure, just dont try to hide BossPrefs, itself. If you want to just hide things use Poof. Using BossPrefs to do it adds it to the dock. Maybe I'll combine Poof into BossPrefs sometime down the road.

    well I planned on making the shortcut for the doubletap of the homescreen button. That way my iPhone appears completly stock. Bc its a pain in the *** to restore the iPhone every time you want to go to the apple store.

    by the way, I want to say thank you for all the great applications you've made for the iPhone. You are amazing!

    Do you have any plans for a hack for tmot users to have visual voicemail?

    Also, do you know any way I could save images from web pages while using the iPhone?

    Hi BigBoss,

    I installed the iphone program that lets you free up memory fom the main drive. I didn't move any applications, only ringers and the other one. My phone shut down, and it's not restarting. Its stuck in the silver apple icon. I dont know what to do. Any help? Sorry for posting here I just didnt know how else to contact you.

    Thx, Milian

    HELP PLEASE BIG BOSS!!

    I've hidden all icons with big boss prefs on my 2.0.2 3g iphone and can't find the info file to edit.

    Phone is unusable!

    Please help!

    Never mind.

    I found the info file at:

    /private/var/stash/Applications.Rmusll/BossPrefs.app

    Well! That was "interesting" for a while.

    I'm relieved to say the least

    Cydia....

    Also, for everyone, Settings>General>Restrictions>Enabling, then disabling, unhides all icons.

    Exclamation I need some help here.

    Help!

    I* hid all of my apps using Poof, to just make it very minimal this included INSTALLER.APP, SETTINGS, and POOF itself. I am very new to this, my friend jailbroke my iPod Touch for me, so I am really at a loss for what I can do.

    I was hoping that Dock.app would allow me to still access them, I found out quickly I was wrong. I don't believe my friend ran OpenSSH, I have tried using winSCP with all the info I have and googl'd, it just says that it timed out.

    Can someone help please?

    **Edited**

    Scratch that, I'm not sure what I did, but Dock allowed me to access the apps.
