Help getting old version VLC files off iPhone

So I've been using vlc for a long time on my phone and I just noticed when the app updated and changed its interface all the videos that I had put on my phone via iTunes are now inaccessible and I have no way of getting them off. They take up most of the phones memory at this point and show up as "other" in the itunes screen. System Restore didn't fix the problem and using Winscp I can navigate the phone but cant find the folder where the videos used to be. Any help would be appreciated.
