08-26-2012, 05:55 PM #1How can I pair my iPad to my 4s automatically via Bluetooth?
As title. It seems I need to tap 4s device name first on the iPad before I can pair it. I just want to share the 3G net on my 4s to my iPad.
ps. Not sure if this is the realm of cydia.

the word you're looking for is probably "tether" not "pair".
Try searching for that. :/

bought tetherme. but somehow I don't understand how it works.
Can you please explain how tetherme works over bluetooth? My phone company already provides free tethering to all its plans. I just want my ipad to automatically connect to my 4s over bluetooth when out of wifi range (say I'm at work and I don't want to use work's free wifi which is a ***** to use at times).

Hi, I haven't got tetherme, but from what I understand tetherme would go on your iPhone to enable bluetooth tethering to a laptop/phone. Normally your iPad or iDevice can not connect to your iPhones Bluetooth directly without something like iTether or MyWi on demand being installed on your iPad aswell.
Waiting for a response from someone who is trying this out (iPhone to iPad)
