Why Won't Some Apps Run?

1.1.4 Jailbroken some apps won't run. They will install, but when launched, they open for a brief moment and then close. This is on about half of the apps I install. What am I missing?
I tried to search this, but I guess I'm not getting the wording right.
Some Apps effected are CalID, WAVE... etc. Other apps like POOL and CONVERTER work fine.
Thanks in advance.

Ok, did that. went into the "Applications" directory and typed "chmod -R 755 CallD.app" and it doesn't give any error, but the application still loads then immediatly quits. I also tried it as instructed "chmod -R 755 CallD.app/calld" but it says no such file or directory found. ?? I also restarted the iPhone and no luck there.

Code:
chmod -R 755 /Applications/CallD.app/callid
Try that.
