Setting up wifi sync without a cable

Hey guys. I have a 3rd gen itouch, and for whatever reason, I can't get my ipod to show up on any of my computers. Idk what's going on. I'm sick of hassling with it. My question is this. Is there any way to enable wifi sync without having my ipod connected to itunes? I'm assuming that it would be some sort of a registry tweak...but I really don't know. Any help would be much appreciated.

hook it to ur computer and under your ipod select sync over wifi and click apply and u should be good to go then un plug it and see if it stays on the list to the right

Make sure you have Itunes 11.0.1 installed and try with cable.
