restore jailbroken iPod touch 4G with files/apps kept (help please)

How can i backup ALL my (pics,vids,apps,notes everything) iPod touch files first before i restore my ipod touch (restoring my iPod touch because my games are always crashing) and after i restore my iPod touch how can i add the backup files?
and does this mean i have to jailbreak again?

Yea you can right click on ya phone in iTunes select backup. Afte ya restore it will come up with another menu asking you to restore from new or back select that back up and ya should be good. And yes you would have to re jailbreak it again

havnt done it yet, backing up my ipod to my computer first (taking a while...)
