Customize 2.0 Screenshots and news

Customize 2.0 from SpicyChicken is almost there guys. I got my hands on it and it looks great. There are some UI bugs, but not many program bugs. A little trouble with summerboard, but that is fixed by applying a theme that Spicy made himself (the theme does not show anything). We are also seeing customize only working when on edge or wifi. This is because it is a fully online app. It reads the themes from the online server and then you can download those themes to your iPhone. Here are some screenshots that I took:

How 'bout a screenshot of a 5-icon dock. I assume that is now working in 2.0?

I can't wait. Do you know when it will be released?
Will the 5 icon dock work on 1.1.3/4 with this release?

I have tested it,at this stage there is no way to use a five dock,or an option to select how many docks you want to use, just changing what you use i.e. different dock, system sounds, wall papers etc. In Theme Browser you can download (themes only) directly from Customize instead of Installer. As for the release i think it will be a few weeks away yet. I am using 1.1.4 and seems to crash a lot.

Keep thread updated on future developments.

Ok so as of now, no 5 dock feature, but I think spicy is working on it. I also think that if you don't have internet, customize crashes. I hope Spicy can make it so you can themes that you have already downloaded without needing WIFI or EDGE. I would say we are 2 weeks away because some people are having major issues that involve restoring (spicy is working hard on that) and were also seeing a lot of non-functioning UI.

2-3 weeks for sure

I can't find an invitation code anywhere, so i can't trial it (Spicy won't give out anymore invitation codes...)
But in the mean time, I have found a way do used a 5 icon dock on 1.1.3/4.

One question about the "Wallpaper" option. Does that set the Lock screen wallpaper or the Home screen wallpaper. because if it changed the Home Screen background, that would solve alot of problems.

Oh, and at "matt4iphones"... $45 for a 5 icon dock is stupid. I'm sorry, I just think that is something that should be free.

Dude, did you read the tutorial.
It shows you how to free the application so that you don't have to pay for it and can use it for free...
Meaning you don't have pay the $45.
I didn't and I have a 5-icon, reflective dock.

Can't wait to have this on my iPod...

so this is suggesting that we don't need Summerboard anymore because we can apply themes through customize?

Im a tester, it almost does as summerboard does but without summerboards options. You can only set themes (at this point) The idea is interesting and will most likely be expanded as it is only in testing so far. The more themes you download the more items you have available to "customize" you can pick apart the themes and only use the parts you want out of each.... If that makes any sense

Can you edit springboard strings again yet? If not, how would I go about editing them with another program? Are they located in a specific file I can simply ssh to and edit?
