well, I joined this forum because I can't get xBackup to work.. it just starts and then quits right away. I get an error message ...

I've sent two notes to the developer, through cydia, but no answer...

I downloaded xBackup and tried it awhile ago.
I find PkgBackup to be more refined and thorough. It's is my personal preference atm.

Thank you for your response. I still have a couple of issues/questions. I actually paid MONEY for the xBackup app (not much, I grant... but money nontheless) Is PkgBackup free? Will it allow me to do the following...
copy all the stuff on my 3g/4.1 iphone that an itunes "most recent backup" and a re-jail break WON'T replace?
do it without having to go "command"?
and, most importantly is it easy to use for an old fart?

oh - and do I INDEED have a memory problem? or is that just an offshoot of this xBackup app?
    thanks again for the help.

PkgBackup is not free (don't remember the cost)
Everything is done from within the app.
Includes options to backup the data portion of stock Apple apps, AppStore apps, and Cydia apps.
PkgBackup integrates DropBox for stored backups.
Not difficult to use, but many options available.
