Default Where does an ipa store its app/game saves
    Hi Guys,

Where does an ipa, such as Iron Man 2 or something, store its game saves? I'm asking because i would like to backup my games saves in preparation of 4.1 or even a lost phone. I've browsed all individual folders for each app in var/mobile/applications, but i dont recognize anything as an app/game save.

I just hate when i'm halfway finished with a game and an update, sync, or restore destroys my progress.

I think all that info is stored in your backup, as far as where it is on the phone itself I am not too sure.

I don't even think it gets backed up in itunes. I have backed up games and restored from a backup. The game saves arent there. I'm trying to figure out where it is on the phone

Use iFile to show names, browse on your phone to var/mobile/Applications - find the App folder and your save game will be in the Documents folder - ie save games are stored within the App - easiest thing is to have iFile zip the game folders up you want to save the games for, then you can reverse the process overwriting your new install game with the old data.
