voip type question

so i'm going "camping" but need to have my phone accessable incase something happens, is it possible to have the phone function usable over wifi only? there is no cell reception, but the area will have a wifi hotspot hooked up... preferably with my normal phone number, not too worried about incoming calls...

nah, it's a paintball tourniment, the wifi is for paypal access for the mobile proshop and interact machine

I use siphone from cydia with a voipbuster account. And an ipkall number.
