why do my apps stall for 5 seconds before loading?

not sure if itsva bug from an upgrade but my
apps tend to take a few seconds to load
especially text free.
I'm not overloaded and have a gig free.
anyone got any ideas?

i hear that mobile substrate addons are the biggest causes of slowdown. if you check sbsettings are there a vast number of mob subs listed?

are you on 3g/3gs?

on a 3g the best thing i can do to speed everything up is to not have a winterboard theme running
