There are a bunch of videos that explain it on youtube. Just type customize 1.1.4 and you will see.

go to installer, click sources, add, then enter http://ride4.org/shai.xml make sure all is small case letters. refresh, go to install, all packages, scroll down till you get to all sources. click install, wait for it to finish and refresh your sources. once done, go to all packages again, scroll down till you get to 1.1.4 compatibilty patch. install it, then go and install customize.

Incorrect! The customize versions you get from this "all sources" will only give you 1.21 which is not compatible with 1.1.3 or 1.1.4.

To get Customize 1.1.4 add the source below in the Installer.app. In the install list look for Customize 1.1.4 and install that one. Be sure to uninstall any previous Customize app before you do this.

You will get an error message (in German) when installing... just hit OK and the process should continue. Just like before the app may crash the first couple times you run it, but should become stable in the end.

Actually Customize does not work properly on v1.1.3 and v1.1.4
If you check thespicychicken.com it is confirmed there too.
But good news with the release of the sdk, the developer expects
to have Customize v2.0 sometime this coming week.

You can add a customized version of Customize, but whats the point.
Just wait a few days and you will have a fully working App, that was designed
with the SDK so you know its going to be good!

Actually, I did this last night and it was somewhat complicated. Luckily there is a video here that explains it exactly. For changing the carrier logo, I also had to use MIME (by Erica Sadun, I beleive) and put Ipod as the text in the carrier field before changing it to a graphic as you can see below.

Seriously... follow my instructions... its not hard... doesn't take long.. and I just did it last night on a friend's phone. Its a modified version "Customize 1.21 (Custom), 2" specifically coded for 1.1.3 and 1.1.4.
