IPhone Alarm doesn't loop

Hello, I've been experiencing problems with the stock alarm. When the alarm goes off, the sound does not loop. Basically it just plays the alarm sound once and then stops. This is a real problem if you don't wake up very quickly and I've been late several times as a result.

I'm jailbroken on 3.1.2 and don't really have any other issues. Things I've tried already:

Restart the phone
Use a different ring tone
Use a 'stock' ringtone
Delete the alarms and make new ones


Any ideas? Thanks guys and gals, this is driving me nuts!

I'm pretty sure that's standard behavior, and it's annoyed me as well. My workaround is to set multiple alarms, all with different ringtones. I also have to remember to manually turn up the ringer volume every night before going to bed, since I usually keep the volume at about 50% which isn't enough to wake me up.

I don't think there's any way to make it loop, unless there's a tweak in Cydia that does that or something.
