Have you heard of Appswell? There holding a contest for iPhone idea submissions and I submitted an idea on a Universal Inbox which holds all messages and personal wall posts from facebook, @replies and direct messages from Twitter, Profile comments and messages from Myspace, as well as email.
The goal of the app is to combine the importance of all three major social networking sites with email. Usually messages (public or private) are more important than anything else going on on the social networking sites. The app will also allow you to view past conversations and reply to any message.
I was just wondering what your guys' opinions were? I have found a couple apps that are somewhat similar but do not accomplish what I am looking for. Maybe you have suggestions or your own ideas?
If you want to vote on it while your there, I would really appreciate it! I really want to win. LOl. Have you guys submitted any ideas for apps on appswell?
I don't know how it would work out. As of now I have facebook and twitter email me when I get a message or comment, or even if someone else post on a picture I posted on. I can just click on a link and reply or view that page. So pretty much your app is a little more flexible/organized than the regular email app, and sort of like Google Wave. That's my opinion, but there are people out there that would love an app like this. But for a competition, I don't know if it's that innovative to get the top spot.
