iphone 3gs software for 3g?

Basically I want the voice command & battery level on the topbar.

However theyre only enabled on the 3gs, surely they are software mods? Can they be enabled on the 3g?

Well u can enable battery lvl on ur iphone 3. Just search battery control in cydia then go to settings and turn on numerical battery but I don't think u can get voice control

Thats abit strange, isnt it just a part of the firmware, surely it can be put back in non S firmware?
