hey i jailbroke my friends iphone and downloaded the nes emulator+ROMs. whenever i try to open the emulator, it opens and then closes...i tried reinstalling the emulator and the ROMs...

well u can get other roms online by googling it and then sshing it into var/mobile/media/ROMs/NES. i do that and it works all the time. hope i helped!

idk if that would help...the emulator simply wont open, it just opens then closes. thanks though. any help?

What sourcE did u dl the nes emulator from? and r u on 3.0?

I am having the same problem as the OP. I have the jailbroken 3G with the latest firmware. The application will launch, then close within a split second and go back to the springboard. There are roms installed in the directory they need to be in but the app just won't load all the way. I just got finished jailbreaking it a second time to see if that helps...no luck.

The source for the NES emulator should be the CYDIA STORE! Any other source is warez and won't be discussed here.

No problem. There are two apps listed in the Cydia store. I installed one of them and it does not work. I just wanted to know how to get it work, that's all.

If you installed the free one it's for older firmwares. The app had to be rewrote for 3.0 and you have to pay for it.
