skype wont start

I just upgraded to 3.0.1 from 2.2 and now my skype wont even start. This was even before I jailbreaked it. All it does is act like it's loading and then just exits. I dont know what to do. I want to keep version 3.0.1. Oh and skype is at the latest version also.

a few questions....

did you restore to 3.01 or did you upgrade to 3.01 => best bet is to do a restore instead of upgrade this way it will wright over all your files.... which is a good thing

second, did you do a restore from your old backup of 2.2.... by doing this it wrights over some necessary files needed to run processes and they might not be good files for the new firmware

and finally, if you did a restore from 2.2 to 3.01 and you did to a fresh install of a phone and are still having issues starting skype.... even though it may be the newest version, it may not be compatible with the new 3.01 version that came out, meaning the newest version may not be 3.01 compatible....
