OS 3.0 on 3G messaging question

OK so i upgraded to 3.0 and i hear about the options that you now get on txt messages or as they now call it messaging...

Everything works just great but....

I dont have the camera icon in messaging so i can send a pic txt.... any reason why??

I do know that Cingular doesnt have MMS working as of now but id like to know that when they do it will work ya know..

Also FYI my phone is sno0w'd but it didnt have the camera icon in my messaging so i could send a pic in a txt...

Any help????

well that's not true i have att and i have the camera icon and i can send and receive pictures here's a few threads that should help you out OP

Blown thanks for the info is there any way to add the needed file via SSH rather than having to let it update the phone? i dont want to have to re JB the phone if possible ??

Just use itunes to option + updated and pick the file to install.

^If you read the instructions it tells you a way of SSHing the files in. But a any rate, you dont have to restore or rejailbreak.

yea change the .ipcc file name to .zip copy all of the contents to

private/var/mobile/library/Carrier Bundle.bundle

and restart

OK so i went in SSH and went to private/var/mobile/library/Carrier Bundle.bundle

i copied everything from the zip file i got from the instructions page into there and it still doesnt seem to want to send pictures... YES it shows the icon to add a pic and i can do that now but it will never send them??

tried it again just to be sure and it starts to send it...takes for ever then says send failure so i dunno....

Its not going to send the pic in till at&t allows for MMSing.

Ahh ....well dang... i thought from reading posts that some are getting it to work with at&t oh well ....FYI i did it in itunes as well just to try all options ill attempt another one just for fun lol
