iphone 3.0 wont stream .m4v files anymore !!!!!!????

so I'm a music video editor .. posting cuts for clients to watch on their iphones as an option has always been a thing of mine ..
safari won't play .m4v files now since the update ! and it looks like this seems to be a widespread problem !!!!!!!
anyone know of a fix or a way to make your website be able to stream those files once again ?
