Anyone try using the activatemms2g package that just showed up in cydia? I can't seem to get it to work. Apparently after I download it there's supposed to be an option in settings to turn mms on but I got nothing.
Anyone figure it out yet?

I used ActivateMMS2G through the ispazio repo and worked great! I got the settings for MMS and the little camera in the messages app.

what you do is install it
then after it reboots go to
Settings,General, Network, Cellular Data Network
Enter in your your MMS network settings BUT make sure the MMS network setting for APN matches the Cellular Data APN. They have to be exactly the same for it to save!
then exit and reboot your phone then you should see the camera icon in your messages! Have fun!

I don't think it should matter that you are ATT. After you installed did you restart your phone? Then try to look at the settings?
Are you in Cellular Data? After you click Network?

I've done everything that you guys have said so far. I've tried installing it on the ispazio repo and the other one, but neither of them seem to be working. I don't have a cellular data network page. I've rebooted several times as well.

do we have to have the MMSC field and the proxy field filled out? if so could you explain what needs to go in those fields?
also, i try to add the APN under MMS and every time i back out of setting or just hit the home button it never saves the settings. any idea on what i could do there?

Make sure your Cydia is up to date
The one I downloaded was from iSpazio....
This is for 3.0 only as well... other than that I don't know

to find the settings for your fields.
the APN under MMS and the APN under Cellular Data (the first APN) must be the same for it to save. Then reboot your phone.

I enter wap.voicestream.com for the MMS APN field and exit out of settings. When I return into the settings the wap.voicestream.com disappears. Anybody know why the APN wont stay or how to make it stay?
Also I can receive MMS messages without anything being in the MMS APN field but I cannot send them.
Anybody else having this problem?
