I tried it with and without Swirly2...I get no where besides the initial DL.

Here's a link I found on Twitter about activating MMS on 2G iPhone OS 3.0
It looks like a translation of the Ispazio page.

I'm confused about the 4th step when it says:
4th Step : in Revenue and watch the messages simbolino camera. The iPhone will tell you that in order to send MMS you must set your phone number. Once the transaction will then return to your messages, attach files and send and receive MMS.

(in Revenue)?? (simblino camera)?? My iPhone never asked to set my phone number...

I think I might as well just restore and reJB my iPhone, and start everything from scratch. I really don't wanna go thru the whole process. I'm still debating, but if I do, I'll let you guys know.
We don't seem to get a lot of support from anyone =[

That link is going to wrong for some of us. I tried them directions plenty of times and never got the "cellular data" options under me network settings.

I went as far as restoring, rejailbreaking and Unlocking with no luck at all. I gave up and reinstalled Swirly2.

and your right, we're not getting any support

Works for me! My friend sent me a set of boobs and it went through! Boobs came out of the phone!

I am running 3.0 on my 2g iphone. I installed the activatemms2g and did reboot.

I had to install the cellular package for att from cydia also to get the option for mms.
settings>general>network>cellular data Network

These are the steps I did to make it work.

cellular data- wap.cingular

mms
apn- wap.cingular
username and password blank
mmsc- http://mmsc.cingular.com
mms proxy- wireless.cingular.com

After I undated I turned off the the device removed sim card and inserted into another mms capable device.
I logged on to mycingular account and changed my device to something other than my iphone.
While my sim was in the non iphone i had to eep trying to connect to the internet until it connected.
Once connected put sim back into your iphone.
I had to keep trying and then 10 minutes later I can send and recieve mms just fine.

didn't work for you but it took me all morning and it finally works for my att device.

What are you talking about when you say "I had to install the cellular package for att from cydia"?

In cydia carrier bundles give you more settings options. I did the AT&T one from the carrier bundle section in cydia. After install you get cellular data option to edit.

I have looked everywhere in Cydia for what you speak of and I cannot find it anywhere.

What section is it under? I dont have a carrier bundle setting in my Cydia

Launch cydia. Select sections. Carrier bundles 2.x. Cb att should be option at the bottom. Install then go to settings network then cellular data. Follow rest of instructions.

Whats the repository it came from? Maybe I need to DL it, cuz theres nothing under sections that has to do with carrier bundles.

I didn't know Cydia had carrier bundles.
What is the source for the carrier bundles?

Just an update, I restored my iPhone and JB it again.
I tried going through the steps again and still no luck.
I don't know how some of you guys manage to get it working on your devices. I'm doing the same exact thing as you guys.
Maybe it's luck, or maybe you're omitting parts ..but no success.

I did manage to get Push Notifications working tho. I'm happy about that!!!

Anyone figure anything out about the horrible incoming picture size, it doesnt resize on outgoing but incoming it does, ive tried different User agent url's but none of them change anything
