PDANet vs. iPhone 3.0 Tether

Has anyone else noticed that the iPhone 3.0 standard tethering function is much slower than PDANet. (AT&T) With my 2.0 firmware and PDA Net my speedtest results were nearly 3MBps. Now that I have the 3.0 firmware with OS supported Tethering my computer reads only 0.20MBps. Anyone elses feedback on the subject would be great. I'm not sure if Apple put some sort of restriction. Both ways I had nearly full 3g Bars.

PDANet, works faster! ATT wants the bleed you to death with their MMS & tethering prices!! I might be lucky but my MMS is working, due to the fact that I have two samsung cell phone accounts (well actually I have 5 phones, as a family plan! LOL to one guy! But since my cell's are factory unlocked, ATT has no idea at all, so I just ordered the unlimited family texting plan.I do love my 3G.

If anyone else has done speed test from their PC with Apple's tether feature on ATT let me know your results. It seems as if the tether speed matches the Edge speed. Even with 3g Bars all the way up.

I get around 1500kbps or so tethering with my PC, it of course varies around that number.
