specific ssh terminal commands (from ipod to ipod)
i HATE when my friends come over and use their ipods the whole time and are oblivious to everything else! there ipods are jailbroken and i've stored there devices' ip addresses in my LAN. I know basic SSH commands to ssh into there ipods, close apps, launch apps, reboot and respring. So here are my two questions:
1. Is it possible to type a message to them after i launch the notes.app (or any app or .txt file) by the SSH method previously shown or another method
2. What are some other good commands to mess around with them (i dont intend on deleting files and apps) if there are any.
thank you in advance (although ill probably thank you again)
well you can use issh ($9.99 in app store $0 in installus )
then you need their ipod ip (settings>Wi-Fi><your internet>blue tab>there ip address)
then in issh add configuration> put following:
description(anything)
host (their ipod ip)
port:20
login: root
Command(nothing)
use key (off)
password: alpine
Click save at top right then when you select the (description) name
wait for writing to show the type: Restart
(that will restart their ipod
to respring: respring
now i have not found any "shutdown" command but email me: xboxfriends360(at)hotmail.ca
(Remove (at) replace to @)
and keep me posted on how you do (AND NO ONE SPAM THIS EMAIL I USE IT TO HELP PEOPLE!!!)
EDITED: oh and the command at the setup is if you put lets say "restart" (without the quotes)
it will auto maticly reboot their ipod without you typeing
thanks,
jailpod
