    Default Summerboard Theme/Icon Problems
I'm having a problem when I try to use Summerboard Themes. Everything comes up as it should, but the icons are not aligned. I've attached a screenshot. Please help!

BTW, I having been previously using .ipb to switch out icons.

Same problem here too. Most of them will line up, but at least one in the dock and two or three other of the apps will not.

Just had a thought. What version of the firmware are you guys using? I'm still on 1.0.1 and I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the problem.

I have also not changed out iTunes to 7.4 yet...

That shouldn't matter... try restoring the original iPhone icons. Then restart SpringBoard and see if the SummerBoard icons align properly.

Restore OEM icons (for SummerBoard themes with 60x60pixel icons)
Manually install theme icons to /Applications/ directories (for ANY SummerBoard theme to align correctly)

Haha, yea thats the best solution!
That's why I packaged my theme icons for iSwitcher as well.. gets around the alignment problem perfectly.

i've never had this issue except for when using lazy day...sadly im too lazy to try to figure it out but my guess would be summerboard specifies an exact size for icons and it centers them or something crazy if its off? iunno...im sure it will be addressed in future summerboard updates.

    The explaination is VERY simple...
The alignment is based off your "hard-icons", or those found in /Applications/ (example: /Applications/MobileCal.app/icon.png).
However, the image displayed is your theme icon (example: /var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes/ThemeName/Icons/Calendar.png).

If the sizes of these two files vary, the alignment will be off.
For example, with "Lazy Day", SummerBoard is aligning the theme icons (which are 80x80 pixels) as if they were 60x60 pixels (because the icon.png's in each Application directory are this size). This is obviously a bug!

The solution is simple... Manually install each icon.png (or use iSwitcher to easily do this for you... for "Lazy Day" an iSwitcher theme has been included). Or, make all your theme icons 60x60 (like Loring did)... I wasn't willing to settle, and chose the former method.

Or yes, you can always just wait for SB 2.2!

THANKS UNCLEAR!!! Your solution totally fixed my icon problem. Just went in through cyberduck and in 5 minutes had icons resized to 60x60 and now all other themes line up perfectly. Thanks again!!
