I like ATTs service and dont plan to unlock. I love the rollover mins (got about 5000 of them) Ive done every mod to my phone but unlock. Keeping it original is really boring.

I'm with AT&T still (no reason to unlock yet) but I would definitely unlock it when going overseas (again).
Still paying off $800 iPhone bill just for carrying it around while in Thailand last month.

i'm with at&t but unlocked with the 4 part unlocking method posted here so i can use it overseas and my phone works fine. (and why not? $250 to break my contract with t-mobile, $600 iphone, $130/mo phone bill, why should i pay for roaming when i travel?)

Wouldn't help me.
I don't have Tmobile and if get a plan there, and Apple breaks the unlock then you are SCREWED.
The only good thing about unlocking, I see, is if you live outside the US and already have a plan.

Considering I am in Oz and we don't have the iPhone released here yet... unlocking it is my only choice

I unlocked my iPhone just to try it out.
The unlock went well (no problems).
I am using AT&T and have no complaints with them.
Maybe I'll need the unlock if I travel.

Unlocked and in Canada. Our choices are Fido or Rogers up here. I had a fido plan and thus went for it, even though we have nothing close to an unlimited data plan here.
There's pretty good wifi coverage where I am so everything's been pretty good anyways. They say that freedom isn't free, but these days it's become the most damn expensive thing in the world.

I live in Canada, had one Fedexed up from family down in the US. Got it the day the free iUnlock was released to do the sim unlock. Rogers is fine with me using it, and I have a small data package with them. I just leave the login network.xxx instead of network.com when I don't want the phone to use EDGE data.
The strange thing is that I find EDGE on ROGERS to be not that much slower than WiFI. It's kind of like dialup. I think that AT&T is slowing down the data going to iPhones in the US so that it is unlimited but slow.
For the rest of the wold who can't get unlimited EDGE data, I'd like a button which would allow me to easily turn off the EDGE access instead of xxx-ing network login info.
Why do all these posts say "I still use Windows."
Actually I've been on mac since OS 8, and I hate windows. Will never go back.Last edited by The Lodge; 09-20-2007 at 10:42 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
