I am also a complete Noob. I have read as much as I could in many forums and posting now for advise. I have an 8gb iphone purchased from an AT&T store in the US (last week). I live in the Netherlands and wish to use it with a local GSM provider (most likely vodaphone). I plan on unpacking, charging and plugging into my laptop and using iliberty+. Do I need to place any sim cards in the slot before I begin or should I just go with it right OOTB? Also any other advise would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Iphone 1.1.4 withT-Mobile
Hi
I was using Tmobile since one year.I bought an iphone from apple online and unlocked it using ziphone.I tried using i bricker but my phone was retsarting repeatedly.Got it to boot by pressing power and home together after removing sim.
Subscribed to the 19.99 tmobile internet package and I am happy.I tried the tzones hack but itwas too slow..My bad, maybe?

Been with T-Mo for ten years.. Not going to ditch them for a new phone release. I knew someone was going to break the hold that AT&T had on it. And when they did, I had one in my hands.

Unlocked two iPhones - one for my wife and the other for my dad. There's no authorized iPhone carrier in Russia, so long live zibri and others
