I am having a problem about half the times that I try to download a file using Safari download plugin. When I click the download button, it only downloads a few bytes, which is displayed in red. Something like 149 bytes. If I keep retrying to download the file, eventually it downloads it correctly. Its a problem when downloading files from mediafire and megauploads since they have a 7 minute timer until I can retry my download.

Would anyone happen to know why it is only downloading a few bytes half of the time?

Happens to me too, not sure why.

I'm on iPhone 1st gen. 2.2.1.

Double check that your Downloads folder has the correct permissions 777

having the same problem as well. changed folder permissions to 777 through terminal. still only downloads 144 bytes from megaupload. someone please help us out.
