Jailbreak....Now What?

Okay, so I jailbroke my phone, I added Winterboard and messed around with a couple of themes. I have found SOOO MANY different things to do with my phone, but all the info for it is outdated. SO when I go and do these things I can't cuz it's not there anymore. Please help me with all the coolest up to date things I can do. Like I REALLY WANT Swirly MMS but can't figure it out and then a lot of other things tell me to add sources, and when I do it can't find it. SO PLEASE HELP ME!!! I'm REALLY DESPERATE!!! Any help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED Thanks alot in advance for anyone that helps!!!

Welcome to the MMI family.
Well if there telling us is that their out dated, not sure about that unless the firmware you are running needs to upgraded.
But you say you have winterboard so that would mean you have at least 2.0 f/w and should be able to get just about everything on cydia. App Store apps are all be upgraded and most require 2.2 f/w or higher.
SO you might have to upgrade to get what you want.
By telling us what kind of phone you have 2g/3g and what firmware you have it would help out a bunch
Also any specific app your trying to run.
Hope this makes sense. Just need more info.

I have the 1st gen I think.. Definately not 3G. But the version is 2.2.1. I REALLY WANT MMS And any tips on how to SSH or SSl. I have NO IDEA what that is. I'm a NEWBIE!!

In Cydia, you can download SwirlyMMS. It works awesome.

PC or a Mac? You can use winscp for pc & cyberduck for the mac.

SSH This will help with ssh.
download it here.
I f you have 2.2.1 then that is the latest version other then the beta 3.0 but I wouldn't advise that if you new at modding.
You should be able to get what ever you want.

Do you have openssh installed on the phone from cydia?
