i'm in need of some help also, first time i ever had a problem. Not sure when my camera stop working but when i tried to take a pic for my GF today to send. I opened up swirlymms to select the pic i just took, it wasnt there. I went into my camera roll and there was blank file where my new pic should be, when i select the file that was created all that loads up is black screen. Anyone have an idea what could've happen and how i could fix this issues.

When im taking a pic my screen is fine displaying what i am taking a picture of, and the picture shows as if its going into the camera roll but as i said above when i go into the roll its just blank pic.

One of my friends had this issue a couple times... The solution was to RESTORE and re-unlock/jailbreak... and after this set the phone up as NEW in iTunes rather than restoring from a back-up.

well i was able to fix it after reading thru several threads on here. the permissions in
/private/var/mobile/media/DCIM/100APPLE need to be changed the from 755 to 777. this can be done 2 different ways WinSCP or mobilefinder. Hope this helps anyone else out.
