My iPod touch 2G is really fast. How do I get my iPhone to be just as fast?

I have an iPhone 3G 16gb. It's a lot slower than my iPod touch 2G. I heard the processor on the iPod touch 2G is a lot faster, but my iPhone's CPU is slower. How do I speed my iPhone up to be up with my 2G iPod's standards?

Were you using the iphone on wifi too? And if you were and you were using them on the same network at the same time, it can slow them down.

You answer your own question. The iPod 2g has a faster CPU. So it's a hardware difference.

But there's no way to manually speed up the iPhones CPU by overclocking? My iPhone is jailbroken.

Download FreeMemory from the appstore.

You most likely have a memory issue from having lots of applications and whatnot. FreeMemory will keep your memory over 20Mbs at all times.(Well, howevermany times you click the app.)

Hope this helped.
