Cydia keeps crashing
Im on 2.2.1 and for some reason cydia started crashing on me today. The app will open for about 5 seconds and then it crashes back to the home screen. If anyone else is experiencing this or if anybody has a solution please post.
Thank you

Normally Cydia would only crash on me once every time it first boots up and finishes trying to make it's first download or update. Then I restart and no issues. That part seems normal (oddly). Not being able to open at all for even 5 seconds is not normal however.

If you have ssh/mobile terminal, open it, and type atp-get update. Check to see that way if the source library is causing the problems.
If that does not work, then, delete the Cydia.app folder in /Applications
Then, re-jailbreak with quickpwn, only selecting Cydia during the process.
Hope that works for you

Well, Recently I have been trying to open Cydia and it actually just shuts down my ipod n restarts which is very annoying since it takes 5 minutes for my iPod to start up since I jailbroke it. I hadn't connected my iPod to my laptop in sometime so when I did, I ran iTunes and tried to restore then I thought it will erase everything so I didnt restore, I tried opening Cydia whilst connected and to my surprise just returned me to the spring board so I opened it again and it loaded fine! No crashing or anything! So perhaps try that guys! And please take note I am a 13 year old girl who did jailbroke her iPod touch all on her own which took ages
