That look exactly what I would want!
How far until you can release it?
Can I just add two requests(in case that aren't already in your plan)?:
1. Possibility to swipe either the mail or calendar section to have a button to open those app directly from there.
2. Option for color of text and header(+ option of how many events/mail to be shown in each section).
What do you say?

Go check out the thread. Regretfully, the swipe feature won't be easy since this is rendered as HTML. But the plus is, since it's HTML, you have complete control of the look and feel and the ability to integrate other lock screen widgets like weather, calendar, etc.

Oh, I have no clue about the programming part.
But do you have any idea how IntelliScreen solved the swipe feature from the lockscreen? Maybe you should just take a peek at their solution?
Do you need beta testers?
When you mention it's HTML I assume the color option wouldn't a difficult thing to implement?
Edit:
Ok, I entered that thread instead.Last edited by theplague; 04-03-2009 at 04:32 PM.

Will we be able to refresh and grab new mail from that screen? Looks awesome by the way...i've been looking for a replacement for IS and I mainly use mail, calender and text.

Scrolling? My guess is because it's rendered HTML, there is no scrolling like Intelliscreen. It's a shame that the IntelliScreen dev is so good at alienating existing customers.
