Help! Lost Almost all my apps after restore!
I am running 2.2.1 and jailbroke my phone using quickpwn, and installed apps and categories. Something kept messing up so I restored it back to the original 2.2.1 and was going to re-jailbreak my phone....but almost ALL of my apps were gone. No calander, no calculator, no contacts...they all are gone! Please help!

were they hidden in categories? I think you can use sbsettings to unhide them

Thats because you had them hidden in catagories. He HAVE to take them back out before restoring.
Install "SB Settings" and use the "poof" function to unhide them.
EDIT: Broom beat me by seconds.

Also, whenever I download an App from cydia now, it does not show up on my homescreen...please help!

If it was an app you have in catagories before....it also needs to be "unpoofed".

You can also go into the "settings" app and turn on a parental "restrictions or lock" then turn the restriction off... that May unpoof all apps...... I dont know for sure.
Can someone confirm this?
Or do you have to do this every time you install a new/old hidden app.8Gig > 1.0 FW (dead spot on screen)
8Gig > 1.0.2 FW (broken vibrate after a while)

Just wipe it clean and do a completely fresh install. You have so many things poofed and set up you need to start over.
