Help! Lost Almost all my apps after restore!

I am running 2.2.1 and jailbroke my phone using quickpwn, and installed apps and categories. Something kept messing up so I restored it back to the original 2.2.1 and was going to re-jailbreak my phone....but almost ALL of my apps were gone. No calander, no calculator, no contacts...they all are gone! Please help!

Thats because you had them hidden in catagories. He HAVE to take them back out before restoring.

Install "SB Settings" and use the "poof" function to unhide them.

EDIT: Broom beat me by seconds.

If it was an app you have in catagories before....it also needs to be "unpoofed".

You can also go into the "settings" app and turn on a parental "restrictions or lock" then turn the restriction off... that May unpoof all apps...... I dont know for sure.

Can someone confirm this?

Or do you have to do this every time you install a new/old hidden app.

Just wipe it clean and do a completely fresh install. You have so many things poofed and set up you need to start over.

Hey just had the exact same problem as the OP but I had upgraded to the new itunes and new ipod software before I restored my ipod but I just tried the "parental controls" trick and it worked like a charm! Thanks for mentioning this!
