CATERPILLAR try it for 2 days

there's been another thread stating that dock.app isn't the main or only thing that conflicts with caterpillar as there are many users who have had the touch issue without having dock.app installed

@jboone. how did you get the ripdev to respond to you? i've sent them two emails regarding the touch issue and haven't heard back from them. thanks...

Don't try that f**** 2 days trial. After trial expired, my phone application starts crashing. Not able to make or receive calls.

Anyone knows how to fix this??

i was finally able to get in touch with ripdev and was told that the app is not compatible with dock.app and summerboard. he said that those two applications are unstable and does not work well with the phone. i beg to differ. i believe it's caterpillar that's not compatible and therefore has caused problems. i suggested that they disclose this information on their website so potential customers are aware. they've issued me a refund. hope this info helps

hmm try this...

install caterpillar again
click caterpiller icon on springboard
click uninstall on top right
turn off all modules when prompt
uninstall again.

so are you saying that even after you uninstalled it all the stuff was still on it? So you have all the stuff for free or no?

No. When you install Caterpillar you have to choose within the app which preferences you want. Regardless of whether you uninstall the app before th trial period, the preferences will be withdrawn after the trial.

Seriously, this app is rediculous. Just about the ONLY thing it will do that the free apps can't is add the calendar to the lock screen. But that can be done with file mods. I mean, $45 to add a calendar to your lock screen? And no summerboard with cat? You gotta be f'in kidding me!

i acctually know RipDev,they are my friends i can tell you one thing aftert trial version there ARE problems with uninstalling,I have and unlimited for free and they are planning to UPDATE spring board with themes (like summerboard) but not exactly. I'm having this problem too! Was thinking of buying it but now, after un-installing, normal phone app wont work...keeps crashing. I can make a call via iDialer, but no Hang-Up screen. Anybody got a fix for this? PLEASE!!!

you've paid $45 for an app that gives u not a lot more than what other FREE apps offer.
imo, apps should be free unless they're perfect. this is not perfect. at least not yet. and considering apple and feature updates this app may step down just for that.

Smart Dialer: Replace it with Search
µCalendar: Again. replace it with Search
Privacy: LOL! Anw a setting in the strings can remove that too
Reminder: SMSNotify does the job. Also TaskBarNotify puts icons on the topbar
System Font: Customise new version coming up
FaceLift: customize again..

TRUE...45$ for this app$%#! i know its quite useful yet the price is very UNFRIENDLY. this is the MOST EXPENSIVE app i saw.

This app sux! Downloaded the trial, locked my touch screen up, apps won't open...etc. Trying to uninstall this app is like pulling teeth. Stick with Customize and the FREE software. I'd rather send my $50 to Customize so they can update the 5 icon dock!
